Progress is Coming

I've finally been able to take a look at building this website that I've been talking about for the last year and I think I've gotten a good framework.  This website is designed to be the one-stop shop of everything you need to build your curriculum.  There are just so many footprints out there with the resources that we offer that I felt like it's about time for everything to go into one place.  That's the goal anyway.

I want to be able to have a catalog of PD that is available both online and in person.  I think a lot of the problem with PD for our teachers is that it is assigned to them and not freely sought out.  So whenever I get a newsletter via email or something like that, I'm going to start posting them under PD opportunities.  I don't know how I'm going to do that, but that's the game plan.

The other thing that I'm looking to add to this website is a Top 5 Resources for each department.  A lot of the digital resource guidance we provide tends to be based on "tools." With the top 5 for each department, they will be specialized tools for you to use in your classroom.  I'm planning on working with various PLCs to build and develop that platform.

There's an Advice section... I'm not 100% to announce what that is, but it's pretty much a forum for teachers to ask questions to elicit feedback from other teachers.

The last two sections are there as crutches for those of you who are hesitant to go into Canvas.  Hopefully, it'll help with the transition.
